Om de standpunten van de delegaties over de controversiële kwestie « diensten op het gebied van seksuele en reproductieve gezondheid » meer op elkaar af te stemmen, werd op initiatief van de voorzitter van het ad hoc comité een voetnoot ingelast. Deze luidt als volgt : « The ad hoc Committee note that the use of the phrase « sexual and reproductive health services » would not constitute recognition of any new international law obligations or human rights».
Afin de rapprocher les positions des délégations sur la question controversée des « services de santé sexuelle et génésique », le président du comité ad hoc a pris l'initiative de faire insérer une note de bas de page, rédigée comme suit: « The ad hoc Committee notes that the use of the phrase « sexual and reproductive health services » would not constitute recognition of any new international law obligations or human rights».
