Crush about 10 g of the sample (for example in a coffee mill) so that it passes through a sieve with a mesh of 0 72 mm. Weigh out 0 72 g of the crushed sample to the nearest mg, place in a test tube with a ground-glass stopper and add 10 ml of urea loading agent (3.4).
