According to that Section, any person who conducts intelligence activities for a non-European Union third country against the European Parliament, the European Commission or the Council of the European Union shall be punishable in accordance with Section 261; paragraph (1) of which provides that any person who conducts intelligence activities for a foreign power or foreign organisation against Hungary is guilty of a felony punishable by a term of imprisonment of between two and eight years.
Selon cette section, toute personne menant, au profit d'un pays tiers de l'Union européenne, des activités de renseignement à l'encontre du Parlement européen, de la Commission européenne ou du Conseil de l'Union européenne s'expose à la sanction pénale visée à la section 261, paragraphe 1, selon laquelle toute personne exerçant, au profit d'une puissance ou d'une organisation étrangère, des activités de renseignement à l'encontre de la Hongrie se rend coupable d'une infraction pénale passible d'une peine d'emprisonnement de deux à huit ans.
