In this future environment there would be a new tool to connect these sources, called a national criminal justice index, or NCJI. Through this index data could be gathered instantaneously and electronically from across the country and potentially from around the globe whether on sex offenders, terrorists, organized crime or any other type of criminal.
Dans ce futur cadre, il y aura un nouvel outil pour relier ces sources, c'est l'Index national d'information sur la justice pénale ou INIJP. Par le truchement de ce répertoire, des données pourraient être recueillies instantanément par voie électronique à partir de n'importe où au Canada, voire dans le monde, qu'il s'agisse de délinquants sexuels, de terroristes, du crime organisé ou de tout autre genre de criminels.
