As far as flat taxes go, or a single-rate tax, which you appear to be deathly afraid of, it's really surprising that we read in the paper this morning that Mr. Robert Mundell, who is a Nobel prize-winning economist.I think the headline says “Mundell, the Nobel Prize winner, signals his approval for a single tax”, and he goes on to espouse the virtues of a single-rate tax.
