It is not as clear though with a natural gas fuelled vehicle in the United States, where the natural gas is produced in a sour gas well in northeastern B.C. and has to be pipelined all the way down to the U.S. and then goes into the car and you add this sort of life cycle emissions, whether it actually comes out ahead of oil and gasoline at that point.
Il reste à voir toutefois si le gaz naturel qui alimente un véhicule aux États-Unis, où le gaz naturel provient d'une usine de gaz sulfureux située dans le Nord-Est de la Colombie-Britannique et doit être transporté par pipeline jusqu'aux États-Unis, où il faut tenir compte aussi de ces soi-disant émissions liées au cycle de vie, il reste à voir, dis-je, si le gaz naturel est supérieur alors au pétrole et à l'essence.
