72. invite la Commission, dans le contexte de la nouvelle réforme de la PAC, à intensifier ses efforts de soutien des secteurs agricoles qui apportent une contribution reconnue à la préservation de la biodiversité, en particulier du secteur de l'apiculture; rappelle que les insectes sauvages et domestiques comme l'abeille contribuent à 80 % de la pollinisation des plantes à fleurs, que le déclin qui les menace est un enjeu énorme pour nos sociétés dont la production agricole et donc l'alimentation dépend pour une bonne partie de la pollinisation des plantes à fleurs; estime par conséquent que l'apiculture doit faire l'objet d'une attention particulière dans les mesures qui seront prises pour la protection de la biodiversité;

On a number of occasions the European Parliament, in adopting with virtual unanimity the reports drawn up by the author of this question on the state of bee-keeping in the European Union, has put forward highly specific proposals for solving the structural and other problems facing the EU bee-keeping sector, in particular the alarming disappearance of bee-keepers. This compromises the establishment and regeneration of bee farms which are essential from both the social and the environmental points of view, since they enable wild and cultivated plants throughout the EU to be pollinated.
À différentes reprises, le Parlement européen, en adoptant quasi à l'unanimité les rapports de l’auteur de la présente question sur la situation de l'apiculture européenne, a fait des propositions très concrètes pour résoudre les problèmes structurels et autres auxquels le secteur apicole européen est confronté, à savoir notamment la disparition alarmante d'apiculteurs qui compromet la création et le renouvellement d'exploitations apicoles, indispensables tant du point de vue social qu'environnemental pour assurer la pollinisation des plantes cultivées et sauvages sur l'ensemble du territoire de l'Union.

Whereas bee-keeping is a sector linked to maintaining the important and fragile flora of the Aegean islands while at the same time providing the inhabitants with extra income; whereas, therefore, that traditional activity should be supported through the grant of an aid helping to reduce the high production costs; whereas that aid should be granted as part of the initiatives to improve the marketing conditions for honey to be carried out by associations of producers; whereas, in anticipation of such associations being set up, a limited amount of aid should be allocated to all honey producers for a restricted period;
considérant que l'apiculture constitue un secteur lié au maintien de la flore fragile importante existant dans les îles en question, qui procure en même temps un complément de revenu aux habitants, et qu'il convient par conséquent de soutenir cette activité traditionnelle par l'octroi d'une aide contribuant à réduire les coûts de production élevés; qu'il convient d'octroyer cette aide dans le cadre d'initiatives d'amélioration des conditions de commercialisation du miel à réaliser par des groupements de producteurs; que, dans l'attente de la constitution des groupements de producteurs, l'aide devra être accordée à tous les producteurs de miel pour un montant réduit et pendant une période limitée;
