Significant progress with the implementation of reforms has, however, already been made in several areas: All Commission Services are in the process of completing job descriptions for every member of staff; work is underway with the other major Institutions on the creation of an inter-Institutional centre for recruitment; next week the new Code of Good Administrative Behaviour for Commission staff will be presented to the College; discussions have started with Staff Unions on a series of subjects including improved mobility, disciplinary procedure amendment, and the extension of training.
