Furthermore, what I would like to say in particular is that I thank you for the work you have done in codecision, where generally speaking you have made improvements – sometimes we create some pretty extraordinary things in order to reach a consensus – but the overall result is hugely positive, since this Parliament reflects the sensitivities of the citizens of the European Union, complemented by those of the governments of the European Union.
En outre, je tiens particulièrement à dire que je vous remercie pour le travail que vous avez réalisé en codécision où, d’une manière générale, vous avez apporté des améliorations. Nous faisons parfois des choses assez extraordinaires pour parvenir à un consensus mais, globalement, cela s’avère extrêmement positif vu que ce Parlement reflète les sensibilités des citoyens de l’Union européenne, complétées par celles des gouvernements de l’Union européenne.
