Although I understand Senator Losier-Cool's desire to emphasize the positive in the wording of her motion — which Senator Viola Léger also illustrated very well in her first speech — I think it important and useful to recall certain facts, without which this motion would not be very different from many others like it.
Bien que j'aie compris le désir de l'honorable sénateur Losier- Cool d'accentuer le côté positif dans la formulation de sa motion — ce qu'a fort bien illustré aussi le nouveau sénateur Viola Léger dans son premier discours au Sénat —, je crois important et utile de rappeler certaines données sans lesquelles cette motion ne se distinguerait pas beaucoup de bien d'autres qui pourraient lui être assimilées.
