Insists that the legislation recently adopted by the French Parliament on the secular character of education should not lead to violations of fundamental rights, not least freedom of religion and the principle of non-discrimination, as laid down in and protected under the European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, or of the principles common to the Member States, as referred to in Article 6 of the EU Treaty, or the provisions set out in Article 13 of the EC Treaty;
63. insiste pour que la législation adoptée récemment par le Parlement français sur l'enseignement laïc ne débouche pas sur des violations des droits fondamentaux, et en particulier la liberté de culte et le principe de non-discrimination, tels que prévus et protégés par la Convention européenne des droits de l'homme et la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l'Union européenne, ou des principes communs aux États membres, tels que visés à l'article 6 du traité UE, ou les dispositions établies à l'article 13 du traité CE;
