Honourable senators, this matter must be dealt with in a manner that gives confidence to all of us and gives confidence to the public that we are doing the right thing, that we're doing the honourable thing and that we're giving senators whom we are proposing should no longer be able to sit in this chamber, should no longer be able to represent the people of their region, should no longer receive salaries — Have we given them an opportunity to meet the case against them?
