– (FR) Mr President, Commissioner Busquin, ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Italian radicals, I would like to pay a glowing tribute to the rapporteur, Mr Caudron, for bringing the second reading of an extremely difficult subject to a successful conclusion. As Chairman Westendorp quite rightly said, we can be proud that the report was submitted in the form in which it was adopted by the competent committee.
- Monsieur le Président, Monsieur le Commissaire Busquin, chers collègues, au nom des radicaux italiens, je voudrais rendre un hommage appuyé au rapporteur, M. Caudron, pour avoir mené à bon port cette deuxième lecture d'un sujet très difficile : comme l'a dit à juste titre le président Westendorp, on peut être fier qu'il nous soit soumis tel qu'il a été adopté par la commission compétente.
