But the problem Ms. Weston brings up, which we as a committee have to recognize, is that if under our Constitution we don't have the power to control the constituent elements in it from discriminating, to wit the provinces, then we're damn fools to go into agreements like that because we're just setting ourselves up for an international obligation that will come up to bite us.
