On this basis, as already announced at the 30 June 1987 Council meeting, the Commission confirms its intention to amend the present proposal by the application of a negative coeficient (-50 %) to the levy planned for marine oils to dispel the danger of substitution of these by other animal fats (tallow, lard), not subject to the stabilization mechanism (1) "The Commission's proposal on the stabilization mechanism for oils and fats will be the subject of a supplementary study and consultation with the Community's main trading partners.
Sur cette base, la Commission, comme elle l'avait déjà fait savoir lors de la session du Conseil du 30 juin 1987, confirme son intention de modifier la proposition actuelle par l'application d'un coefficient négatif (- 50 %) à la cotisation prévue pour les huiles marines, afin d'éviter le risque de substitution de celles-ci par d'autres graisses animales (suif, saindoux), non soumises au mécanisme de stabilisation (1) "le proposition de la Commission sur le mécanisme de stabilisation pour les matières grasses fera l'objet d'une étude complémentaire et d'une consultation avec les principaux partenaires commerciaux de la Communauté.
