I make no bones about the fact that, as a Greek, I had – and still have – acute cause for concern because some of the European Commission's proposals, if they are implemented, will hit the universal postal service in Greece very, very hard, not in the densely-populated areas, but in the remote mountain villages and on the small, remote islands.
Je ne cache pas que, en tant que Grec, j’ai eu et ai encore de vives inquiétudes puisque certaines propositions de la Commission européenne, si elles se concrétisent, vont, à proprement parler, porter un coup très rude au service postal universel en Grèce, non certes dans les agglomérations fortement peuplées, mais dans les villages de montagne éloignés et les petites îles isolées.
