We believe—and we've held this position quite vehemently—that municipal government, being an elected, autonomous, democratic government, has the right to levy municipal taxes on property inside their own municipal boundaries, whether that property is owned by the airline industry, whether it's owned by me as an individual, or whether it's owned by the Minister of Public Works.
