Every portion of the public service of Canada designated by the Governor in Council before the day on which section 8 of this Act comes into force to be part of the public service for the purposes of sections 11, 12 and 13 of the Financial Administration Act is deemed to be a portion of the federal public administration designated by the Governor in Council for the purpose of paragraph (d) of the definition “public service” in subsection 11(1) of the Financial Administration Act, as enacted by section 8 of this Act.
67. 104.1 (1) Despite any other Act or law, any information obtained by a public officer of the Canada Revenue Agency, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services or the Department of Citizenship and Immigration for the purpose of the administration of this Act may be made available to a public officer of the Department of Employment and Social Development, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the Department of Citizenship and Immigration or the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for the purpose of the administration of this Act.

(3) Notwithstanding any other Act or law, any information obtained by a public officer of the Department of National Revenue, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services or the Department of Citizenship and Immigration for the purpose of the administration of this Act may be made available or allowed to be made available by that person to a public officer of the Department of Human Resources Development, the Department of National Revenue, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the Department of Citizenship and Immigration or the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for the purpose of the administration of this Act.

(15) The participating Member States should give the European Patent Office certain administrative tasks relating to European patents with unitary effect, in particular as regards administration of requests for unitary effect, the registration of unitary effect and of any limitation, licence, transfer, revocation or lapse of European patents with unitary effect, the collection and redistribution of renewal fees, the publication of translations for information purposes during a transitional period and the administration of a compensation scheme of translation costs for applicants filing European patent applications in a language other than one of the official languages of the European Patent Office.
(15) Les États membres participants devraient confier à l'Office européen des brevets certaines tâches administratives dans le domaine des brevets européens à effet unitaire, notamment la gestion des demandes d'effet unitaire, l'enregistrement de l'effet unitaire et de toute décision de limitation, licence, transfert, révocation ou extinction des brevets européens à effet unitaire, la collecte et la redistribution des taxes annuelles, la publication de traductions purement informatives durant une période de transition et la gestion d'un système de compensation des coûts de traduction pour les demandeurs qui déposent leur demande de brevet européen dans une langue autre que l'une des langues officielles de l'Office européen des brevets.

(Return tabled) Question No. 206 Mr. Alex Atamanenko: With respect to Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization (CAIS) program entitlement, the appeals process and exclusion from entitlement to other federal agricultural programs: (a) are appellants entitled to know what recommendations are made by the Western Amalgamated Appeals Sub-Committee and, if so, how is a copy of the recommendations obtained by the appellant; (b) are appellants entitled to know on what grounds the Intermediate Appeals Sub-Committee rejects recommendations of the Western Amalgamated Appeals Sub-Committee and, if so, how is a copy of the recommendations obtained by the appellant; (c) has the CAIS administration ever issued rejection letters to an appellant before or after soliciting the involvement of an appeals committee and, if so, how is a copy of the motion or other directive permitting this obtained by the appellant; (d) who is responsible for forwarding recommendations made by the Western Amalgamated Appeals Sub-Committee to the next level of appeal; (e) are there any legitimate grounds upon which the National CAIS Committee (NCC) administration is allowed to refuse an appellant the full extent of an appeal by neglecting to forward the recommendations of the Western Amalgamated Appeals Sub-Committee to the next level of appeal; (f) does the appeal process deal with appeals on a case by case basis or can the NCC administration short-circuit the appeals process based on a judgment that an appellant's complaint is just like the one that may have preceded it; (g) are there guidelines established that would give an appellant a reasonable expectation of the time it should take to address an appeal at all the various levels and, if so, what are the guidelines that govern a reasonable expectation; (h) is the appellant justified in expecting that the decisions made by appeals committees will be communicated to the appellant; (i) what are the circumstances under which it would be accepta ...

3. For the purpose of this Regulation ‘joint managing authority’ shall mean any public or private authority or body, including the state itself, at national, regional or local level, designated jointly by the Member State or States and the partner country or countries covered by a joint operational programme, having the financial and administrative capacity to manage Community assistance and having the legal capacity to conclude the agreements necessary for the purpose of this Regulation.
3.
