The reasons for the murder and its perpetrators have yet to be clearly identified. It was an attack on the entire population of Lebanon, regardless of religion or political persuasion. 2. With regard to the questions on the repeated air strikes by Israel on Southern Lebanon, I would draw you attention to the Presidency’s recent statement on Lebanon on behalf of the European Union, the tenor of which was the following:
