In order to allow the more exhaustive vocabulary necessary for better describing the wide range of varieties and tastes of virgin olive oils without protected designation of origin status, a new deadline should be laid down that is sufficient to permit the implementation of an organoleptic evaluation method that expands the range of positive attributes of virgin olive oils, with the exception of those with protected designation of origin status.
Afin de permettre que les huiles d’olive vierges sans appellation d’origine puissent aussi bénéficier d’un vocabulaire plus exhaustif nécessaire pour mieux cerner la grande diversité variétale et de goûts desdites huiles, un nouveau délai suffisant pour la mise en œuvre d’une méthode d’évaluation organoleptique permettant d’élargir la gamme des attributs positifs des huiles d’olive vierges à l’exclusion de ceux en appellation d’origine doit être établi.
