With regard to this deal and the long list that my colleague from British Columbia has just read of groups across Canada that are denouncing the Liberal Party's sellout and its abject failure to stand up for human rights, we should remember the good words of someone else who was at the thinkers conference on the weekend, Eddie Goldenberg, former chief of staff to Jean Chrétien, who had the merit of being one of the only Liberals to ever tell the truth.
Pour ce qui est de cet accord et de la longue liste, que mon collègue de la Colombie-Britannique vient de lire, de groupes de partout au Canada qui dénoncent l'attitude à-plat-ventriste du Parti libéral et son refus abject de défendre les droits de la personne, nous devrions nous rappeler les bonnes paroles d'une autre personne qui a participé à la conférence des penseurs en fin de semaine, Eddie Goldenberg, ancien chef de cabinet sous Jean Chrétien, qui a eu le mérite d'être l'un des rares libéraux à avoir jamais dit la vérité.
