Stresses that both national and foreign enterprises operating in Indonesia need to develop their activities in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility; welcomes Government Regulation No GR 47/2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Companies, which is generally applicable to Indonesian companies and provides for incentives and sanctions: highlights, none the less, the need for capacity-building to implement the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights; calls on the EU to provide, within the framework of the PCA, the necessary technical assistance, and on Indonesia to develop its own national plan of implementation of the UN Guiding Principles; commends Indonesia for hosting, in November 2012, the international meeting steered by its Corruption Eradications Commission together with the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, which discussed the ‘Principles for Anti-Corruption Agencies’;
benadrukt dat zowel nationale als buitenlandse ondernemingen die in Indonesië actief zijn hun activiteiten moeten ontwikkelen in overeenstemming met de beginselen van maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen; verwelkomt regeringsverordening nr. 3. Provide Iraq with assistance in setting up adequate and legitimate institutions which enable its representatives to negotiate the terms of accession, and encourage continual EU assistance for the promotion of adherence to and active participation of Iraq in international organisations, conventions and treaties such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Kyoto Protocol and the Biodiversity Convention;
3. Irak steun verschaffen bij het opbouwen van degelijke en wettige instellingen welke de vertegenwoordigers van het land in staat stellen te onderhandelen over de toetredings- voorwaarden, en doorlopende steun van de EU bevorderen voor het aanmoedigen van Irak om zich aan te sluiten bij, en actief deel te nemen aan internationale organisaties, conventies en verdragen zoals de Conferentie van de Verenigde Naties voor handel en ontwikkeling (UNCTAD), het ontwikkelingsprogramma van de Verenigde Naties (UNDP), het Milieuprogramma van de Verenigde Naties (UNEP), de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie (IAO), het Protocol van Kyoto en het Verdrag inzake biodiversiteit;

H. whereas the European Union has provided considerable financial support to the Palestinians in the past years; whereas the EU's Temporary International Mechanism and project funding have played an important role in avoiding a humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank; whereas the Commission, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and the World Bank have suspended several infrastructure projects due to the inability to import raw materials; whereas these humanitarian offices, agencies and organisations have continued their activities on a limited scale despite all the obstacles; whereas the European Union continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people and direct subsidies to employees of the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip; whereas the Palestinian-European Mechanism for Management of Socio-Economic Aid (PEGASE) will constitute a new financing mechanism for EU and other international assistance for the Palestinian Territories,
