TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Richtsnoer ECB/2008/5 van 20 juni 2008 betreffende het beheer van de externe reserves van de Europese Centrale Bank door de nationale centrale banken en de juridische documentatie voor operaties met betrekking tot de externe reserves van de Europese Centrale Bank (1) bepaalt dat iedere NCB van het eurogebied gerechtigd is: a) deel te nemen aan het operationele beheer van de aan de ECB overgedragen externe reserves; of b) af te zien van dit beheer dan wel dit beheer te delen met één of meer andere NCB’s van het eurogebied.
Guideline ECB/2008/5 of 20 June 2008 on the management of the foreign reserve assets of the European Central Bank by the national central banks and the legal documentation for operations involving such assets (1) states that each euro area NCB may: (a) participate in the operational management of the foreign reserve assets transferred to the ECB; or (b) either abstain from such management or pool such management with one or more other euro area NCBs.

Krachtens artikel 30.1 van de statuten van het Europees Stelsel van centrale banken en van de Europese Centrale Bank (hierna „ESCB-statuten”), wordt de Europese Centrale Bank (ECB) door de nationale centrale banken (NCB’s) van de lidstaten die de euro hebben aangenomen (hierna „NCB’s van het eurogebied”) gedoteerd met externe reserves en is zij ten volle gerechtigd om de aan haar overgedragen externe reserves aan te houden en te beheren.
Pursuant to Article 30.1 of the Statute of the European System of Central Banks and of the European Central Bank (hereinafter the ‘Statute of the ESCB’), the European Central Bank (ECB) is provided by the national central banks (NCBs) of the Member States whose currency is the euro (hereinafter the ‘euro area NCBs’) with foreign reserve assets and has the full right to hold and manage the foreign reserves that are transferred to it.

1. Met ingang van 1 januari 2011 en met inachtneming van de specificaties in artikel 3 betreffende de afwikkelingsdata van de overdracht van externe reserves, crediteert de ECB Eesti Pank met een in euro luidende vordering gelijk aan het totaalbedrag in euro van haar bijdrage aan externe reserves.
1. With effect from 1 January 2011, and subject to the specifications in Article 3 regarding the settlement dates of the transfers of foreign reserve assets, the ECB shall credit Eesti Pank with a claim denominated in euro, equivalent to the aggregate euro amount of its contribution of foreign reserve assets.

Ingevolge Besluit ECB/2008/27 van 12 december 2008 betreffende de maatregelen die nodig zijn voor de bijdrage aan het geaccumuleerde eigen vermogen van de Europese Centrale Bank en voor de aanpassing van de vorderingen van de nationale centrale banken ter grootte van de overgedragen externe reserves (9), bedraagt dientengevolge de waarde van externe reserves in euro die al aan de ECB zijn overgedragen krachtens artikel 30.1 van de ESCB-statuten 145 853 596,60 EUR.
As a result, pursuant to Decision ECB/2008/27 of 12 December 2008 laying down the measures necessary for the contribution to the European Central Bank’s accumulated equity value and for adjusting the national central banks’ claims equivalent to the transferred foreign reserve assets (9), the euro equivalent of the foreign reserve assets which have already been transferred to the ECB pursuant to Article 30.1 of the Statute of the ESCB is EUR 145 853 596,60.
