In het programma werden diverse projecten over macro-economische statistiek, sociale statistiek, landbouwstatistiek en statistieken over de buitenlandse handel opgenomen, en de uitvoering zal in september 2003 van start gaan.

Op die vergadering is de Adviesgroep, na behandeling van het voorstel voor een richtlijn van het Europees Parlement en de Raad tot herschikking van Verordening (EG) nr. 2597/95 van de Raad van 23 oktober 1995 inzake de verstrekking van statistieken van de nominale vangsten van lidstaten in bepaalde gebieden buiten de Noord-Atlantische Oceaan, tot de gezamenlijke conclusies gekomen dat in artikel 5, lid 1, de woorden "Permanent Comité voor de landbouwstatistiek" moeten worden gewijzigd in "Permanent Comité voor de landbouwstatistiek" (geen wijziging nodig voor Nederlandse versie, vert.).
At that meeting, an examination of the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council recasting Council Regulation (EC) No 2597/95 of 23 October 1995 on the submission of nominal catch statistics by Member States fishing in certain areas other than those of the North Atlantic resulted in the Consultative Working Party’s establishing, by common accord, that in Article 5(1) the wording "Standing Committee on Agricultural Statistics" should be adapted so as to read "Standing Committee for Agricultural Statistics".

2) In artikel 5, lid 1, moeten de woorden "Permanent Comité voor de landbouwstatistiek" worden aangepast tot "Permanent Comité voor de landbouwstatistiek" (geen aanpassing nodig voor Nederlandse versie, vert.).

Doordat in de loop van de periode 2004-2007 ervaring is opgedaan in het kader van Besluit nr. 1445/2000/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 22 mei 2000 inzake de toepassing van areal frame sampling en teledetectie voor landbouwstatistieken in de periode 1999-2003 , en van de daaraan voorafgaande besluiten, zoals met name Besluit 88/503/EEG van de Raad van 26 september 1988 tot vaststelling van een proefproject inzake toepassing van teledetectie ten behoeve van de landbouwstatistiek , kon het agrometeorologische stelsel voor opbrengstprognoses en voor de bewaking van de toestand van de bodem en de gewassen een vergevorderd operationeel ontwikkelingsstadium bereiken en zijn doeltreffendheid bewijzen.
Experience gained in 2004-2007, within the framework of Decision No 1445/2000/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 2000 on the application of aerial-survey and remote-sensing techniques to the agricultural statistics for 1999 to 2003 , as amended, and prior decisions such as, notably, Council Decision 88/503/EEC of 26 September 1988 adopting a pilot project on remote sensing applied to agricultural statistics , has enabled the agro-meteorological system for forecasting yields and monitoring land and crop conditions to achieve an advanced operational and development stage, and to demonstrate its effectiveness.
