IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Artikel 15, lid 2 van Verordening (EEG) nr. 2261/84 van de Raad van 17 juli 1984 houdende algemene voorschriften inzake de toekenning van de produktiesteun voor olijfolie en de steun aan de producentenorganisaties wordt als volgt gewijzigd:

Gezien het bovenstaande is de Commissie van oordeel dat er geen steun met betrekking tot deze zekerheidsstelling bestaat, die moet worden meegerekend ten behoeve van de normale produktiesteun, waarop de McTay Marine-werf ingevolge de Zevende Richtlijn aanspraak kan maken (4,5% in het onderhavige geval).

De kennisgeving van het VK omvat de volgende steunregelingen die al eerder krachtens de 7e richtlijn waren goedgekeurd : A. The UK notification covers the following aid schemes that were previously approved under the Seventh Directive: A. Concerning operating aid a) Shipbuilding Intervention Fund : Contract related direct production aid to yards in the form of grants. b) Shipbuilders' Relief : Grants amounting to 2% of the contract price covering reimbursement of duties applicable to hydrocarbon oil and vehicle excise licenses, where such costs enter into the costs of constructing, fitting out and equipping the vessel. c) Home Credit and Export Credit Guarantees : Indirect production aid by credit facilities for UK shipowners and foreign shipowners at 80% of eligible ship costs over 8.5 years at 7 1/2% interest rate net of charges, equal to 8% gross.

Volgens de regeling kan aan Spaanse scheepswerven produktiesteun worden toegekend (totaal budget 8 miljard PTA) in de vorm van een subsidie tot 9 % van de waarde van het contract vóór de steun (4,5 % voor de bouw van schepen met een waarde tot 10 miljoen ecu en voor de verbouwing van schepen) overeenkomstig het krachtens de richtlijn vastgestelde gemeenschappelijke plafond voor produktiesteun.
Under the scheme, Spanish shipyards may receive operating aid in the form (total budget of 8 billion pesetas) of a grant of up to 9% of the contract value before aid (4.5% for the building of vessels costing up to 10 mecus and conversions) in accordance with the common maximum operating aid ceiling established under the Directive.
