TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Artikel 5 van het Statuut van de ambtenaren van de Europese Unie, in de versie van verordening (EG, Euratom) nr. 723/2004 van de Raad van 22 maart 2004 tot wijziging van het Statuut van de ambtenaren van de Europese Gemeenschappen en van de regeling die van toepassing is op de andere personeelsleden van deze Gemeenschappen, zoals laatstelijk gewijzigd bij verordening (EU, Euratom) nr. 1240/2010 van de Raad van 20 december 2010 (hierna: „Statuut”), luidt als volgt:
Article 5 of the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union, in the version resulting from Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 723/2004 of 22 March 2004 amending the Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the European Communities, as last amended by Council Regulation (EU) No 1240/2010 of 20 December 2010 (‘the Staff Regulations’) reads as follows:

5. The rules of public-private partnerships may deviate from the Union Staff Regulations insofar as the acts establishing these bodies according to Article 1a(2) of the Staff Regulations do not provide for an application of the Staff Regulations.

2. 2. Breaches committed by staff shall lead to the application of the procedures and penalties provided for by, respectively, the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union, laid down in Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (‘the Staff Regulations’).

For the purpose of implementing Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 of the Council of 29 February 1968 laying down the Staff regulations of officials and the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities and instituting special measures temporarily applicable to officials of the Commission , CEPOL is an agency within the meaning of Article 1a, paragraph 2, of the Staff regulations of officials of the European Communities.

2 bis. In afwijking van het bepaalde in artikel 77 van het statuut van de ambtenaren kan de laatste alinea van artikel 9 van bijlage VIII van het statuut van de ambtenaren worden toegepast op tijdelijke functionarissen, aangesteld overeenkomstig het bepaalde in artikel 2, onder c) van de regeling welke van toepassing is op de andere personeelsleden van de Europese Gemeenschappen, ter assistentie van een politieke fractie van het Europees Parlement
2a. By way of derogation from Article 77 of the Staff Regulations, the final paragraph of Article 9 of Annex VIII to the Staff Regulations may be applied to temporary servants engaged in accordance with Article 2(c) of the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the European Communities to assist a political group in the European Parliament:
