Onderzoeken van plasma of serum moeten bestaan uit: glucose, totaal cholesterol, ureum, creatinine, totaal eiwit, albumine en ten minste twee enzymen die indicatief zijn voor hepatocellulaire effecten (zoals alanineaminotranferase, aspartaataminotransferase, alkalisch fosfatase, gammaglutamyltranspeptidase en sorbitoldehydrogenase).
Dans le plasma ou le sérum, on mesure les éléments suivants: glucose, cholestérol total, urée, créatinine, protéines totales, albumine et au moins deux enzymes indicatrices d'effets sur les cellules hépatiques (telles que l'alanine aminotransférase, l'aspartate aminotransférase, la phosphatase alcaline, la gamma glutamyl transpeptidase et la sorbitol déshydrogénase).
