It would add two new definitions that are relevant to the bill: an “extra-provincial motor carrier undertaking” would mean an extra-provincial bus undertaking or an extra-provincial truck undertaking, both of which are defined in the current Act; and a “provincial authority” would mean a person or body that had, under the law of a province, authority to control or regulate motor carrier undertakings operating exclusively in the province.
Il ajouterait deux nouvelles définitions pertinentes : une « entreprise extra-provinciale de transport routier », qui s’entendrait d’une entreprise extra-provinciale de transport par autocar ou d’une entreprise de camionnage extra-provinciale, les deux étant définies dans la loi actuelle; et une « autorité provinciale », qui s’entendrait d’une personne ou d’un organisme ayant, en vertu de la loi d’une province, le pouvoir de contrôler ou de régir les entreprises de transport routier dont l’exploitation est limitée à la province.
