I want to refer him to the submission by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union of Canada to the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, which said, “On review of Bill C-9, the ILWU is immediately and seriously concerned about s. 5.2(1) which requires workers who handle and deal with dangerous goods to hold transportation security clearances”.

Dans ce mémoire, le syndicat déclare ceci: « Après examen du projet de loi C-9, le Syndicat international des débardeurs et magasiniers du Canada est très préoccupé par le paragraphe 5.2(1), qui exige que les travailleurs qui se livrent à la manutention de marchandises dangereuses d’être titulaires d’une habilitation de sécurité en matière de transport».
