The Canadian Alliance does not feel this is the right approach and hence that is why we oppose the increase (1800) Mr. Larry Bagnell (Yukon, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, I and I think all my colleagues are quite proud of the fact that the member opened his speech by saying that in the budget we have increased foreign aid to the poorer countries of the world by $1 billion.
