The EESC attaches importance to, and agrees with, the strategic priorities put forward by the Commission in its Communication on internationalising European higher education, including the mobility of students, teachers and researchers, ‘internal’ internationalisation by building subjects of relevance to the world scene into study programmes, and on the importance of strengthening international partnerships and alliances between higher education institutions, at a time when the large-scale introduction of free online courses is transforming access to knowledge.
Le CESE juge pertinentes et soutient les priorités stratégiques que la Commission propose dans sa communication sur l'internationalisation de l'enseignement supérieur, notamment la mobilité des étudiants, des enseignants et des chercheurs, l'internationalisation «chez soi» au moyen de l'intégration dans les programmes d'étude de thèmes liés au contexte mondial, et sur l'importance de renforcer les associations et alliances internationales entre les établissements d'enseignement supérieur, à une époque où l'arrivée massive de cours gratuits par l'intermédiaire de l'internet modifie substantiellement l'accès au savoir.
