Mr. Speaker, it has been five days now since the Liberal leader insinuated that the candidacy of Julie Javier in Winnipeg North was nothing more than a game to steal votes from the Liberal candidate because of her Filipino heritage, yet the Liberal leader still has not apologized for his insulting and offensive comments.
Monsieur le Président, il y a maintenant cinq jours que le chef du Parti libéral a laissé entendre que, parce que Julie Javier est d'origine philippine, sa candidature dans la circonscription de Winnipeg-Nord n'était rien d'autre qu'une tentative en vue de dérober des appuis au candidat libéral, mais le chef du Parti libéral n'a toujours pas présenté d'excuses pour ses commentaires insultants et choquants.
