Definition: This block contains a wide variety of disorders that differ in severity and clinical form but that are all attributable to the use of one or more psychoactive substances, which may or may not have been medically prescribed. The disorder may precede, accompany, or follow a wide variety of infections and physical disorders, both cerebral and systemic, but direct evidence of cerebral involvement is not necessarily present. It can be differentiated from postencephalitic syndrome (F07.1) and postconcussional syndrome (F07.2) by its different etiology, more restricted range of generally milder symptoms, and usually shorter duration.

Motion no 50 Qu'on modifie le projet de loi C-14 par adjonction, après la ligne 32, page 68, du nouvel article suivant: 146.12(1) Pour arriver à une décision conformément à l'article 146.6, et établir si l'exploitation d'une ligne principale ou de l'un de ses tronçons est nécessaire dans l'intérêt public, l'Office peut : a) entendre, aux dates qu'il fixe, des demandes regroupées d'abandon de l'exploitation de plusieurs lignes de chemin de fer qu'il estime, à sa discrétion, situées dans la même région ou des régions adjacentes les une aux autres; b) exiger de toute compagnie, autre que celle qui présente la demande, qui exploite une ou plusieurs lignes dans une région où, de l'avis de l'Office, au moins une des lignes principales visées par la demande est située, qu'elle lui fournisse, à l'égard des lignes de la compagnie situées, d'après l'Office, dans cette région, un état du volume de transport de marchandises sur ces lignes; c) sans restreindre le pouvoir qu'a l'Office d'étudier les demandes dans l'ordre qu'il estime approprié, exiger d'une compagnie qui a présenté plusieurs demandes d'abandon de lignes qu'elle lui précise l'ordre dans lequel elle veut que l'Office étudie ses demandes (2) L'Office est tenu de respecter le caractère secret de tous les renseignements qui lui sont fournis en vertu d'une réquisition faite conformément à l'alinéa (1)b), sauf pour les renseignements concernant la ligne principale visée par la demande d'abandon d'exploitation».

(a) focus attention on defining the purpose of the Senate, consequently giving the Senate the legitimacy which it deserves to be an active participant in the legislative process; (b) define the role which a revised Senate might take at a national level and the powers which would be appropriate for it to exercise in harmony with the House of Commons; (c) give standing committees a more effective position of governing in the Senate, more particularly, in relation to the task of reviewing the nomination of federally appointed judges; (d) determine the length of term of office; (e) determine an alternate means by which to select members of the Senate; (f) determine the nature of its regional representation, particularly a desire to see each province finally receive the numerical representation it deserves in the Senate of Canada; and that there needs to be reform of the House of Commons to: (a) make it more democratic and accountable; (b) give all Members the freedom to be part of the policy making process.
a) s'appliquer à définir la raison d'être du Sénat, donnant ainsi au Sénat la légitimité qui lui revient et qui lui permettra de participer activement au processus législatif; b) définir le rôle qu'un Sénat modifié pourrait jouer à un niveau national et les pouvoirs qu'il conviendrait qu'il exerce, en harmonie avec la Chambre des communes; c) donner aux comités permanents un rôle de gouvernance plus efficace au Sénat, surtout en ce qui a trait à la vérification de la nomination des juges nommés par le gouvernement fédéral; d) déterminer la durée du mandat de sénateur; e) déterminer d'autres modes de sélection de ses membres; f) déterminer la nature de sa représentation régionale et, plus particulièrement, le désir que chaque province reçoive enfin la représentation numérique qu'elle devrait avoir au Sénat du Canada; et qu'une réforme de la Chambre des communes est nécessaire pour les raisons suivantes : a) la rendre plus démocratique et comptable de ses décisions; b) donner à tous les membres la liberté de faire partie du processus décisionnel.
