Scholars in the United States last year, in order to assess the threat to water and waste water infrastructure in the cyber realm, built an imaginary website, loaded it up on the Web, and provided a website and an entry into an imaginary municipal water system just to see whether it would attract cyber-attacks on the industrial control systems that govern the municipal water system here in Ottawa, back in Washington, and across our two nations.
L’an dernier, des chercheurs américains, afin d’évaluer la menace qui pèse sur les réseaux d’aqueduc et d’égout dans le domaine de la cybernétique, ont créé un site Web fictif et ont offert sur Internet un accès à un réseau fictif d’aqueduc municipal simplement pour voir s’il ferait l’objet de cyberattaques contre les systèmes de contrôle industriels qui régissent le réseau d’aqueduc municipal comme ici, à Ottawa, à Washington et dans l’ensemble de nos deux pays.
