Greater market access for goods can be achieved through Agreements on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of industrial products (ACAAs), which will allow free movement of industrial products in specific sectors through mutual acceptance of conformity certificates.
Een grotere markttoegang voor goederen kan tot stand komen door middel van overeenkomsten inzake overeenstemmingsbeoordeling en aanvaarding van industrieproducten (OOA's), waardoor het vrije verkeer van industrieproducten in specifieke sectoren mogelijk wordt op grond van de wederzijdse aanvaarding van conformiteitscertificaten.

(2) The Fitting conformity certificate shall have the model structure set out in Annex VI. In order to assist compliance with the essential requirements applicable to finished appliances set out in Annex I, the Fitting conformity certificate shall state the characteristics of the fitting and it shall contain instructions on how it should be incorporated into an appliance or assembled to constitute such an appliance. It shall contain also the elements specified in the relevant conformity assessment procedures set out in Annex III and shall be continuously updated.
(2) De structuur van de conformiteitsverklaring voor toebehoren komt overeen met het model in bijlage VI. 3. Where a conformity assessment body finds that essential safety requirements set out in Annex I or corresponding harmonised standards have not been met by a manufacturer, it shall require that manufacturer to take appropriate corrective measures and shall not issue a conformity certificate.

(53) Transparent accreditation as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 765/2008, ensuring the necessary level of confidence in conformity certificates, should be considered by the national public authorities throughout the Union as the preferred means of demonstrating the technical competence of conformity assessment bodies.

In order to verify whether the data submitted in order to obtain a conformity certificate comply with the monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia, the standardisation body for nomenclatures and quality norms within the meaning of the Convention relating to the elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia (European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines) may ask the Commission or the Agency to request such an inspection when the starting material concerned is the subject of a European Pharmacopoeia monograph.
