Calls for the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions 2139 (2014), 2165 (2014) and 2191 (2014) throughout the territory of Syria; urges all parties involved in the conflict to allow UNRWA, ICRC and other international aid organisations unhindered access to the Yarmouk refugee camp, to enable immediate and unconditional humanitarian access, to evacuate wounded civilians and provide safe passage for all civilians wishing to leave the camp; calls for the establishment of humanitarian corridors that are controlled neither by the Syrian regime nor by IS/Da’esh and Jabhat al-Nusra, in light of their gross and continuous violations of international humanitarian law;

29. wijst erop dat de EU een vitaal belang heeft bij veilige en open zeeën die de vrije doorgang van handel en het vreedzaam, legaal en duurzaam gebruik van de rijkdommen van de oceanen mogelijk maken; benadrukt dat de EU een extern maritiem beleid moet ontwikkelen dat gericht is op de bescherming en het behoud van kritieke infrastructuur, open zeevaartroutes en natuurlijke hulpbronnen, en waarin de nadruk komt te liggen op de vreedzame oplossing van conflicten binnen het kader van het internationaal recht en in overeenstemming met de bepalingen van het Verdrag van de Verenigde Naties inzake het recht van de zee; ziet uit naar de vaststelling van de maritieme veiligheidsstrategie van de EU, overeenkomstig de conclusies van de Raad van april 2010, en pleit voor de ontwikkeling van een specifiek uitvoeringsplan; wijst erop dat de integratie van maritiem toezicht in verschillende sectoren en grenzen al een sectoroverschrijdend instrument van het geïntegreerde maritieme beleid van de EU (GMB) vormt; benadrukt dat het project voor een gemeenschappelijke gegevensuitwisselingsstructuur spoedig moet worden uitgevoerd en dat tussen het GMB en het GVDB een „brug” moet worden gebouwd om de onderlinge uitwisseling van informatie te verbeteren;

Points out that the EU has a vital interest in a secure and open maritime environment that allows the free passage of commerce and the peaceful, legal and sustainable use of the oceans’ riches; stresses the need to develop an EU maritime foreign policy which aims at protecting and preserving critical infrastructure, open sea routes and natural resources and puts an emphasis on the peaceful resolution of conflicts, within the context of international law and in line with the provisions of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea; looks forward to the adoption of the EU Maritime Security Strategy, in line with the April 2010 Council conclusions, and calls for the development of a specific implementation plan; points out that the integration of maritime surveillance across sectors and borders is already a cross-sectoral tool of the EU Integrated Maritime Policy (IPM); highlights the importance of swiftly implementing the Common Information Sharing Environment project and building a ‘bridge’ between the IPM and the CSDP to improve information sharing between them;
