IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Op grond van artikel 2, lid 6, onder a), van die bijlage III, wordt het ACS-EU-Comité van ambassadeurs aangewezen als toezichthoudende autoriteit van het COB en onder meer gemachtigd de statuten van het COB vast te stellen, hetgeen is gebeurd bij Besluit nr. 8/2005 van het ACS-EG-Comité van ambassadeurs („COB-statuten”).
Under point (a) of Article 2(6) of that Annex III, the ACP-EU Committee of Ambassadors is appointed as the supervisory authority of the CDE with, amongst other things, the responsibility to lay down the statutes of the CDE, which were adopted by Decision No 8/2005 of the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors (‘CDE Statutes’).

Op zijn 39e zitting die op 19 en 20 juni 2014 in Nairobi, Kenia, is gehouden, is de ACS-EU-Raad van ministers in een gezamenlijke verklaring overeengekomen om over te gaan tot de ordelijke sluiting van het COB, alsook de wijziging van bijlage III bij de ACS-EU-partnerschapsovereenkomst, en om daartoe aan het ACS-EU-Comité van ambassadeurs een bevoegdheidsdelegatie te verlenen om de noodzakelijke besluiten vast te stellen, met inbegrip van de relevante wijziging van die bijlage III.
At its 39th session held on 19 and 20 June 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya, the ACP-EU Council of Ministers agreed, in a Joint Declaration, to proceed with the orderly closing of the CDE and to the amendment of Annex III to the ACP-EU Partnership Agreement, and for this purpose, to grant a delegation of powers to the ACP-EU Committee of Ambassadors to take the matter forward with a view to adopting the necessary decisions, including the relevant amendment to that Annex III.

Op grond van artikel 15, lid 4, van de ACS-EU-partnerschapsovereenkomst kan de ACS-EU-Raad van ministers bevoegdheden delegeren aan het ACS-EU-Comité van ambassadeurs.

De statuten en het reglement van orde van het COB, vastgesteld bij Besluit nr. 8/2005 van het ACS-EG-Comité van ambassadeurs („de statuten van het COB”), en het financieel reglement van het COB, vastgesteld bij Besluit nr. 5/2004 van het ACS-EG-Comité van ambassadeurs (het „financieel reglement van het COB”), bevatten de waarborgen inzake informatieverstrekking aan en toezicht door het ACS-EU-Comité van ambassadeurs.
The CDE's Statutes and Rules of Procedure adopted by Decision No 8/2005 of the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors (the ‘CDE Statutes’) and the CDE's Financial Regulation adopted by Decision No 5/2004 of the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors (the ‘CDE Financial Regulation’), provide the safeguards in terms of information of and supervision by the ACP-EU Committee of Ambassadors.

3. De Raad van bestuur stelt het ACS-EG-Comité van ambassadeurs, hierna „het Comité” genoemd, en de Commissie, zo spoedig mogelijk, doch uiterlijk dertig werkdagen na de aanneming ervan, in kennis van de voorstellen voor interne regelingen die hij heeft goedgekeurd of de wijzigingen ervan.
3. The Executive Board shall notify the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Committee’, and the Commission of proposals for internal rules or amendments thereto it has adopted as soon as possible and not later than 30 working days from the date of their adoption.
