IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

The Final Act of the Conference which drew up and adopted the Treaty of Accession of Croatia indicated that the High Contracting Parties had reached political agreement on a set of adaptations to acts adopted by the institutions required by reason of accession and invited the Council and the Commission to adopt those adaptations before accession, completed and updated where necessary to take account of the evolution of the law of the Union.

2. Het in artikel 81, lid 1, van het Verdrag vervatte verbod is niet van toepassing op overeenkomsten, besluiten en onderling afgestemde feitelijke gedragingen die reeds bestonden op de datum van toetreding van Oostenrijk, Finland en Zweden of op de datum van toetreding van Tsjechië, Estland, Cyprus, Letland, Litouwen, Hongarije, Malta, Polen, Slovenië en Slowakije en die ingevolge de toetreding onder het toepassingsgebied van artikel 81, lid 1, van het Verdrag vallen, indien zij binnen zes maanden na de datum van toetreding zodanig worden gewijzigd dat zij voldoen aan de voorwaarden van het artikel 3 van deze verordening.
2. The prohibition in Article 81(1) of the Treaty shall not apply to agreements, decisions and concerted practices which were in existence at the date of accession of Austria, Finland and Sweden or at the date of accession of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia and which, by reason of accession, fall within the scope of Article 81(1) of the Treaty if, within six months from the date of accession, they are so amended that they comply with the conditions laid down in Article 3 of this Regulation.

1. At the time of signature, acceptance, approval or accession, a Regional Economic Integration Organisation may declare that it exercises competence over all the matters governed by this Convention and that its Member States will not be Parties to this Convention but shall be bound by virtue of the signature, acceptance, approval or accession of the Organisation.

CONSIDERING that the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Sweden, in becoming members of the European Union, undertook to accede to the Convention on jurisdiction and the enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters and to the Protocol on its interpretation by the Court of Justice, with the adjustments made to them by the Convention on the accession of the Kingdom of Denmark, of Ireland and of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the adjustments made to them by the Convention on the accession of the Hellenic Republic and the adjustments made to them by the Convention of the Kingdom of Spain and the Portuguese Republic, and to this end undertook to enter into negotiations with the Member States of the Community in order to make the necessary adjustments thereto,

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 1986 subject to the entry into force of the Treaty of Accession of Spain and Portugal.
