– (PT) This report, which we have adopted, addresses an issue of enormous importance in the European Union, both due to its importance in dignifying work and in creating better working conditions, and because of the scant attention that the Commission has paid to this issue of health and safety at work, clearly reflected in the drastic reduction in staff attending to these issues by over 40% in the last ten years, as the report states.
- (PT) Ce rapport, que nous avons approuvé, aborde un thème de la plus haute importance dans l’Union européenne, tant pour son importance pour la dignité au travail et la création de meilleures conditions de travail, que pour le peu d’attention que la Commission a accordé à ce thème de la santé et de la sécurité sur les lieux de travail, comme le démontre clairement la réduction draconienne du personnel qui s’occupe de ces matières, réduction de plus de 40 % au cours des dix dernières années comme le dit le rapport.
