4. Claims for benefits under consideration on the date of entry into force of this Agreement, and claims for such benefits received after that date where entitlement would exist prior to that date through the application of the Agreement with respect to Social Security between Canada and the Hellenic Republic, signed at Athens on 7 May 1981, shall be determined according to that Agreement in regard to rights established up to the date of entry into force of this Agreement, and according to this Agreement in regard to rights arising from this Agreement.
4. Les demandes de prestations qui sont à l’étude à la date d’entrée en vigueur du présent Accord et les demandes de prestations reçues après la date à laquelle le droit aurait existé avant cette date par suite de l’application de l’Accord en matière de sécurité sociale entre le Canada et la République hellénique, signé à Athènes le 7 mai 1981, sont déterminées en fonction dudit Accord en ce qui a trait aux droits établis jusqu’à la date d’entrée en vigueur du présent Accord, et conformément au présent Accord en ce qui a trait aux droits découlant du présent Accord.

(2) The Chief Commissioner may make a report on any claim on the basis of the information then available to the Commission where, in his opinion, postponement of his report in respect of the claim until such time as the Commission is able to assess, with reasonable certainty, the possibility of recovery of compensation from a source other than the Fund would result in undue delay.

372 (1) Subject to section 22 of the Bank of Canada Act, where payment has been made to the Bank of Canada of an amount under subsection 371(3), the Bank of Canada, if payment is demanded by a person who, but for subsection 371(4), would be entitled to receive payment of that amount from the liquidator, the company or the Minister, is liable to pay to that person at its head office an amount equal to the amount so paid to it, with interest thereon for the period, not exceeding ten years, from the day on which the payment was received by the Bank of Canada until the date of payment to the person, at such rate and computed in such manner as the Minister determines.
